Supports 17.7 lbs 42 in LED monitor/TV with no difficulty. Have adjustable height desk with 1/4 inch tempered glass top that sits on top of 2 3/8 inch steel support surround. The double clamping system and wide base spreads out the pressure/load perfectly so there is no excessive pressure on the glass desk top. Top shelf product.

The monitor stand is really well made. I bought it to hold my 19 pound monitor (32 inch). It’s one of the few monitor stands on the market at this price range that can carry a weight as high as 20 pounds. The assembly was really easy and the base is very sturdy. I’m very happy with the purchase.
